Online Learning Blogs of Interest to Nonprofits
Mission to Learn: Started by Isoph co-founder Jeff Cobb, this blog focuses on the strategic use of online learning and Web 2.0 technologies by mission-driven organizations. The blog covers not only traditional e-learning, but also the use of social media tools and other Web 2.0 practices by nonprofits, associations, and other mission-driven organizations.
The Rapid E-learning Blog: Run by Tom Kuhlman at Articulate Global, the Rapid E-learning Blog offers ongoing insights into how organizations can rapidly create, deploy, and measure effective e-learning. While the blog is part of the Articulate Web site, it does not focus overly on Articulate products. Organizations that are using Articulate tools for the development of online learning may also want to check out Articulate's Word of Mouth blog, which does focus on Articulate products like Presenter, QuizMaker, and Engage.
Nonprofit Online Learning Research
Every year the Nonprofit Technology Enterprise Network (N-TEN - http://www.nten.org/) and the Isoph division of LearnSomething (http://www.isoph.com/) sponsor a survey of e-learning activity in the nonprofit and association world. We compile key online learning data for the sector into a report which is then made freely available.
