Budgeting for Progams and Proposals

Budgeting for Programs and Proposals is the first course in Isoph's Nonprofit Management Course Library. Developed in partnership with CompassPoint Nonprofit Services, this course will teach you how to create winning budgets for grant proposals.

Many grantmakers today consider the budget to be one of the most important pieces of the proposal package, and it is often the one they look at first. You'll learn to think strategically about program costs and create budgets that accurately reflect the full costs of a particular project or program. In addition, you'll learn how to effectively communicate your budget and program needs to potential funders. This course is designed for persons who play a role in nonprofit program or project budgeting, including: grantwriters, program line staff, managers and program directors, fundraising staff, and any administrative staff involved in program budgeting.

The course is self-paced and takes approximately three hours to complete. Upon purchase, each learner will have unlimited anytime, anywhere access to the course for an entire year.
